TASK: HEALTHY HABITS

Hello everybody,

Within this task we are going to deal with healthy habits and diets, with physical cares, we are going to manage going to the doctor, as well as we learn something about modals, infinitives in giving instructions and the present perfect tense.

So, choose one of the tasks below or imagine another one related to the subject.  Come on, your work is being improved every day.

1.-  At present, many people, especially teenagers, have some eating disorders due to an unsuitable diet.  Think of a healthy diet and try to give some advices about the matter.  Use the modals  (need, should, must, can, could, have to, ..) to suggest, propose, forbid or advise some suitable ideas.
2.-  Imagine you are a personal trainer and you need make a physical plan since summer time is coming soon.  Give some proposals to your trainees to improve their physical conditioning.  Use the infinitive as if you had to do a serie of instructions on healthy habits.
3.-  Recreate your last conversation with your doctor,  I mean, try to remember when was the last time you were at the doctor's and put it in a dialogue.  Try to make a good introduction and a final conclusion to that dialogue.
4.-  How important is health for you?  Imagine you have to give a speech about healthy and unhealthy habits in the present society.  Put all your ideas on the table to bring up the matter and to initiate a panel debate or discussion.  You can use the modals, imperative, conditionals,...
5.-  Have you or some person close to you recently been ill?  Try to explain a past illness using the present perfect tense.  You can give as many details as you want.
6.-  Do you work or have you worked on the public health system?  Or are you worried about this subject?  What do you think about medical advancements, surgery progress, scientific development?  And what do you think about the everyday treatment with the patients?  Do you think professionalism is both related to medical knowledge and understanding patient emotions?

Take care,
Loli
