Maite and Laura

The case of Teresa Romero is a current and trending affair in every mass media but we aren't in accordance with the governmental actions all this case is involving.

We think that the government wasn´t prepared for an illness like Ebola. We are not talking about the cure but about the means to treat this type of illness as preparing hospitals, professional training, protective equipment and also it had been important to inform Spanish people to avoid  nervousness and other new infections.

Just now we realise how important is the investment in R&D (Research & Development) to prevent outbreaks as dangerous as Ebola. It has been necessary that the illness came to the First World to become aware of it.

To sum up, before anything else our country should have investigated about the cure before coming and should have invested more money in that.
Then the government should have valued if it was prepared to assist persons with this illness and  to train nurses and doctors in an efficient way,
Finally, Monitoring Committee should have been made up by suitable personnel from the beggining in order to that kind of cases never happen again.
