IS IT SMOKING A RIGHT? by Chelo

"It is disgraceful to ban smoking in pubs or restaurant. We should have the right to choose"

At the beginning my classmate and I were thinking about the topic. In fact, We haven't got the same opinion: My classmate thinks the best solution about smoking in public places is to split the room into two spaces, one for smokers and the other one for nonsmokers. But I don't really agree with him because I prefer that people smoke at the street  since a cigarrette can damage the people around.

We wanted to know what  the rest of the class thought about this subject. For this reason we prepared  some questions to interview them.

Next, we were talking with our classmates about the topic. We realized that nobody in the class smokes and almost all the people thought that smoking is a big expense.  It depends on every family economy, but little by little the price is increased. So nowadays few people can't  afford to buy cigarrettes.
On the one hand doctors remarks that smoking is very harmful, and on the other hand it has to be very difficult to stop smoking for a smoker.
I would like my husband gives up smoking but he needs willpower.

In short, every person is free to choose... but always the health of persons around you must be regarded and protected.

I really hate the cigarettes´ smell. I think that your rights end when the other people´s rights start. So, if they are smoking producing a disgusting smell, I can stay next to them and trhow a terrible fart, Isn´t it?
