Habits at the present society by Ruth



Hello everybody,

My name is Ruth and this is my first essay, I´m going to speak about healthy habits.
Now, we are living in a global world, and as a result of this, we have more amount and variety of food .
In our present–day society consumerism rules our lifestyle, in consequence we have more things than we need  but we haven´t enough time for enjoying them.
We belong  to a technological generation and we don't have to make much  effort in our daily life.
These are some of aspects which cause and promote a sedentary way of living and this also leads to the people to be overweight.
I have a cousin who works in a diet clinic, she is nutritionist, I thought she made a personal diet for every customer but her job isn’t that.  She works selling compound  substitutive food   to lose weight in a fast way.
In my opinion it isn´t  a good way to lose weight, I believe it is more important that you follow a balanced diet and so it is necessary to do some exercise or physical activity.
Three mounts ago, more or less, I discovered this internet site http://huerto-natural.blogspot.com.es/ , as you can see it is a local vegetable garden sited in Movera, Damian is a French farmer who grows it, and since I discovered this page I usually buy there the seasonal fruit and vegetables.  I’m very happy because these products are tastier than the supermarket ones.
