TASK: DESCRIBING A PAST EVENT

    Good morning everyone,

    Through this new activity we are going to review past tenses, irregular verbs and reported speech.  Have a look at our Grammar section to work on it.

    Then, you will have the opportunity to write and speak about your holidays, your favourite film, some villages, an unforgettable festivity or an odd past event.

    These are the different tasks, so as you know, choose one and work on it:

    1.-  Write an e-mail explaining a good friend of you your past holidays.  Give as many details as you can remember.

    2.-   Describe any strange or curious event it happened to you.  Before focusing on the subject, give an introduction to create an atmosphere on the reader.

    3.-  Describe in the past tense a film which moved you in some way or another.  Don't give the name of the film because we will try to guess it.

    4.-  Report a dialogue you have had recently.  Use the reported speech to let us know the questions and answers you had.

    5.-  Describe a village in the Aragon region, you can try to make comparisons between living in there in the past and living in there at present.

    6.-  Choose a festivity and describe what you did that day last year.  Give us as many details you remember, but again don't say which festivity you are writing about, as we will try to guess it.
