.

  • Hi Chelo!
  • How are you?
  • Great. How are you?
  • How long have you lived in Sidney?
  • Well. I went to Sidney in 2000 because I was an athlete who took part in the Olympic games. But now I work as a tourist guide.
  • Why have you turned out working as a tourist guide?
  • I met my husband, Peter, and I fell in love with him.  He has a travel agency and ...
  • Can you tell us something about Sidney?
  • Of course, it's my job and it's a pleasure to show you around the city.

And now come with me and see these beautiful monuments.
We are in the Sydney Opera House which was built in 1973 and this monument is the symbol of Sydney. The building looks like a sailing boat.
Have you ever listened to any concert here, Chelo?
Yes, of course, I sometimes come here and listen to wonderful music.

Now I'm going to show you another beautiful place.

It's spectacular.  Can you tell us something about it?
It is called Sydney Harbour Bridge and it is famous because it was the first bridge with one of the longest arch in the world.  It was built in 1932.
It is a pleasure to walk along this bridge once in a while.

Now, wait for me because I'm going to change my clothes and I'm going to show you the most ancient neighborhood in Sydney.

Two hours later.

We are in the Rocks. This neighbourhood is the most European one in Sydney.  There are a lot of shops, coffees and restaurants.  Now we are going to have dinner in one of them,  there you can taste the typical food.

And now we travel to Tasmania, which is a island state, part of the Commanwell of Austarlia, located 240 Km to the south of the Australian continent, separeted by Bass Strait.
