Ebola: Mapping the outbreak in Africa / Eloy Gutiérrez

The Ebola outbreak in West Africa was first reported in March 2014, and has rapidly become the deadliest occurrence of the disease since its discovery in 1976.

Until date, around 10,000 person died in west Africa among Liberia, Sierra Leone, Guinea and Nigeria. This disease spread very fast, therefore the WHO ( World Healt Organization) declared it was an international health alert in August.

I think that rich countries should invest in research  to fight agaisnt these diseases  taking into account that they are also affected.  Moreover The problem is that even developed countries without means and without enough power and wealth,  do not have doctors, scientists, or medicines to keep in quarantine these type of diseases. And it is causing epidemic outbreaks  over tourists and persons who works in those countries.  So it is a global and widespread issue.
