Last year, when I was on holidays in Munich with my wife and friends, it happened to us this funny situation.
We were walking around a mistery building, with too many flags, blue and white. There was a security man at the front door...so we decided not to get into. But next, I saw another entrance, behind the building and we went into by there.
There were hundred of persons and they were all German ones dressed up like typical Bavarian people, and there was also an orchestra playing music... It was a private party indeed!!!!. All the people were drinking pints of beer and we were the only no German people. But... we love beer, we love music and finally we love Munich.
People were very very pleasant with us and it was an incredible funny situation.
