Informal e-mail

Hi Intermediate Students!

This week we are going to work on our first composition!!

As we have been learning vocabulary related to our family, you are going to imagine that you have received an e - mail asking about a friend of yours.

In order to plan what you're going to write, here I attach you a list of interesting links which can be useful to learn new vocabulary words.

TOP TIPS FOR WRITING AN INFORMAL E-MAIL

1    1.       Use formulaic expressions to start and finish your e- mail.
2.       Use I'd prefer + infinitive to say which option you want to do.
3.       Use informal words and expressions.
4.       Respond to your friend's email in a friendly, chatty style.
5.       Use a variety of structures for giving advice.
6.       Don't forget to respond to all the points in your friend's email.

      Have a nice afternoon,

      Julia
